woowtech smart Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: 2026-10-01

This policy explains how WOOW TECH CO., LTD. (Taiwan Unified Business No. 84006751, “WoowTech” or “we”) handles data for woowtech smart, the remote coding-agent companion. It applies to this product, not to our smart-home or ERP client products.

Service and data flow

The mobile app connects to a daemon on a computer you control so you can monitor and operate coding agents. Running a model may require provider authentication or API configuration on that computer. Providers have their own terms, privacy policies and charges.

Content you provide

Prompts, replies, selected images and files, source code, workspace paths and terminal content are transmitted between the app and the computer as needed for your actions. An agent may send task content to your selected provider. Running an agent on your computer does not mean content never leaves that computer.

Local history, attachments and third-party copies have different storage and deletion mechanisms. Uninstalling the mobile app does not automatically delete computer-side records, backups or provider-held data.

Connections and encryption

Application messages carried by the relay channel use end-to-end encryption between the app and the computer. Both endpoints must decrypt content to use it. A relay may see connection information such as IP addresses, timing and message size. This protection must not be interpreted as the same end-to-end encryption for push metadata, provider requests or stored data.

Push notifications

When enabled, device push tokens, language and necessary host/workspace/agent/terminal routing identifiers are processed through the notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging. Delivery to iOS also involves Apple Push Notification service.

Mobile remote notifications use generic completion or attention text rather than agent replies, filenames or full approval details. Push identifiers are outside the chat relay encryption boundary. Local desktop notifications may show different previews.

You can disable notifications in system settings. Subscription revocation may not immediately reach an offline computer. A push-token validity lease is not a retention or deletion deadline for all service records and backups.

Camera, photos and microphone

Camera access scans pairing QR codes; pasting a pairing link is an alternative. Photo-library access is used to select image attachments. Other available pairing methods and text input remain alternatives if you decline these optional permissions.

If separately configured, dictation sends audio to the computer and its configured speech-to-text provider, such as OpenAI. It is not wholly processed on the phone. This version does not bundle a local voice service; available features depend on the final release configuration.

Plan usage and other records

Active fetching of provider-account plan quotas is disabled in this version. Token, context and estimated cost information carried by conversation events is separate and may still be displayed. Disabling quota fetching does not establish that the entire app, operating system or third-party SDKs process no data.

If you contact support, the email, description and redacted diagnostic attachments you provide are used to respond and troubleshoot. Do not send API keys, passwords, complete pairing links or project content you are not authorized to share.

Retention, transfers and third parties

Records on your computer are controlled by you or its administrator, including their retention and backups. Provider-held content and push-delivery data processed by Google or Apple are governed by their applicable terms. Relay and push infrastructure may process connection and technical records; retention and removal depend on the applicable service configuration and provider terms. Contact WoowTech to ask about records relevant to your request. A push-token lease is not a deletion deadline for all records or backups.

Information you send to support is used to investigate and respond to your request. Its handling and retention depend on the request and applicable legal obligations; please contact us for access or deletion assistance. This policy does not claim that uninstalling the app immediately deletes correspondence, server records or backups, and does not apply another product’s fixed retention period to woowtech smart.

Your computer and selected providers may be located in different countries. Relay, notification and provider processing may occur outside your location. Only submit confidential content when you are authorized to do so and have reviewed the applicable provider terms.

Access, correction, deletion and withdrawal

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, a copy, correction, cessation of processing, deletion or withdrawal of consent by emailing [email protected] with the subject “woowtech smart privacy request”. Describe the relevant device or service and the request, without sending passwords, API keys or pairing credentials. We may need to verify your identity and authority without requesting those secrets.

Removing a paired host, revoking push subscriptions and deleting history are separate operations. They do not delete a third-party provider account. For records controlled by you, your host administrator or a provider, contact that party; we can help identify the appropriate recipient. If a request must be referred to another party, their handling and applicable legal obligations also apply.

Third-party services

Relay and notification infrastructure includes Cloudflare and Google services. Firebase messaging and installation components may process installation identifiers, app versions and technical diagnostic information under Google’s applicable terms, separately from conversation content. Apple provides iOS push delivery. Your selected agent or speech provider processes inputs under its own terms. Disabling account-quota fetching is not a claim that these services collect no technical data.
